Coach Merson is returning to Bok Academy this year to teach Health Opportunities through Physical Education (HOPE) - a high school credit P.E. class. She is passionate about helping students understand the importance of daily physical activity and embracing an active lifestyle that will benefit them now and for the rest of their lives.

She has 10 years of experience teaching middle school physical education and 2 years of experience teaching Pre-K physical education. She has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Florida State University. She also spent a summer in Sweden at Gothenburg University in their Sports Studies program.

Coach Merson enjoys all things adventurous - hiking, water skiing, soccer, saltwater fishing, snow skiing…but also the slower pace - sunsets at the lake, going to the beach and yoga.
