Roxanne Anderson was born and raised in Lake Wales, FL. She graduated from Lake Wales High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science Education from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. Mrs. Anderson also earned a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Anderson started working as a Youth Development Worker at the Lake Wales Afterschool Program at 15 years old and started teaching at Lake Wales High School at 22 years old. Twenty years later, she is just as passionate about ensuring that she impacts the lives of children on a daily basis.
