Bok Academy is one of the 43 schools in the nation with the recognition for 2012-2013, Bok was identified by Apple as a center of “educational excellence and leadership consistently demonstrating ‘best practice’ qualities of a 21st-century learning environment.”
The five criteria for being named an Apple School of Distinction are: visionary leadership, innovative learning and teaching, ongoing professional learning, compelling evidence of success and flexible learning environment.

The Lady Knights with only one loss on the season, went in the tournament seeded #1. The Knights easily defeated the host school Stambaugh Middle in two games, and then went on to defeat Mclaughlin Middle School and Dundee Ridge, to secure the title. The Lady Knights are coached by Rebecca Butcher and Emily Spencer. Both coaches are proud of their girls who have worked hard to all season and earn the right to say they are the best team in the county.
